It was a day of double delight for Cadishead Rhinos U7's today.
Firstly they kicked off their first match of the U7's season with an incredible game against their local rivals Salford City Roosters, in a game which both sides showed fantastic skills and determination for such a young age. Great fun was had by all players, and of course the after match hotdogs went down a treat! Player of match was Dawson Herbert, while coaches award this week went to Marshall Farrell. However all the players showed great skills in defence, attack and we had some passing thrown in for good measure!
Secondly today was the day the team got to show off their brand spanking new kit, kindly sponsored and provided for by Howdens Trafford! We couldn't thank them enough for helping us out and the kids looked smart and had an extra sprint in their step going onto the pitch.
Just a reminder Sunday is always funday down at Rhinos, whether home or away and if you or your child is school age yr1 or yr2 and would like to give rugby a try, we train Mondays 6pm until 7pm at lord street, cadishead.
